How Pocket Vlog works
The whole idea: capture moments with zero friction, let the group's vlog assemble itself.
1. Create or join a group
Groups are private - invite-only. On the Groups page, create a new group, or paste an invite code someone shared with you.
2. Start today's vlog
The first person in the group starts the daily vlog for the group. It sets a cutoff time - everything captured before that time each day gets bundled together.
3. Capture throughout the day
Hit "Capture a moment" any time. Photos and 3-60s clips are captured vertically by default, so you don't have to think about framing - it's cropped for you as you shoot.
4. Clean up as you go
On the "Today's clips" screen, everything's grouped by the hour it was captured. If a whole hour isn't worth keeping, remove just that hour - the rest of the day is untouched. You can restore a removed hour any time before the cutoff.
5. The vlog assembles itself
At the group's cutoff time, everything still included from that day gets stitched together in order automatically. No one has to do anything.
6. Watch it back
Once a day is finalized, it shows up under "Past days" on the group page. Tap through it like a slideshow - clips play through, photos hold for a few seconds, and it advances on its own.
7. Edit the text, then export
From a finalized day, tap "Edit & export." Turn off any caption or title card you don't want in the exported video - individually, or all at once - then export. It renders right in your browser and downloads as a video file.
